Finn Hill Animal Emergency and Urgent Care Hospital is an emergency clinic operated by, and right next door to, Finn Hill Animal Hospital. We offer comprehensive veterinary care to small companion animals, birds, and exotic pets in Kirkland, WA and throughout the King County area. Dr. Raja Velu and our team here are dedicated to providing experienced and thorough care from a courteous staff at an affordable cost. Our brand new facility is fully equipped with a state-of-the-art surgical suite, treatment areas and exam rooms, as well as a comprehensive in-house laboratory and veterinary pharmacy.

Raja Velu, DVM, CVA, Owner
Dr. Raja Velu founded Finn Hill Animal Emergency and Urgent Care Hospital in 2019 after establishing Finn Hill Animal Hospital in 2013. His goal was to provide quality, affordable urgent care for pet owners in the Kirkland community.
Dr. Velu studied veterinary medicine at Tamilnadu Veterinary and Animal Science University in India, completing the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates certification program to receive his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in the United States. Dr. Velu is a skilled surgeon and veterinarian, using multimodal approaches to treating disease and illness. Outside of work, Dr. Velu spends time with his family (including a Maltese named Bingo) and enjoys staying active.
